Diary: Kita

T-minus 20 Hours

So, in about 20 hours, we'll be on our way to Japan. I've got my phone reserved, the blog is pretty much done, my bags are mostly packed, we just won an auction for the Basara event tickets we were after and I'm stuck at work filing, lol. I'm not really much of a diary person, but this whole blog thing was my idea, so I should probably actually contribute to it.

I can't really think of much diary-esq content right now, to be honest. I guess right now I'm excited and a little anxious and debating whether I should thin out my bags so I have more room to bring stuff back.

We've got a really full first couple weeks planned. I lucked out and nabbed a ticket to the Star Driver talk on the 29th, so expect a fabulous report on that, which I imagine will be mostly about how hard Enokido and Igarashi are trolling. We've already got reservations at Swallowtail, tickets to the Legend of Galactic Heroes stage play and a Takarazuka play about Yaji's favorite Warring States Era personality, Ishida Mitsunari, and we even managed to find a theater showing Redline in Osaka during the 4 days we'll be in Osaka.
